NEST Summer Camp Kicks off

The second NEST summer camp started on 12 August 2007 at Prajwal School, Hetuada. 92 children from local communities are participating in this camp.

The main theme of the camp is " Today's need: Peace and Tolerance". In five days, campers will have different sessions on child rights, peace and tolerance, problem solving and life skills, inclusion, diversity, disability, red cross, theatre for development, paintings, singing, talent shows and a lot of team building activities.

Nepal Red Cross, CWIN, Room to Read, ICFON, the Netherlands have supported the camp. Local cable telivision TEAM TV has also supported the programme by broadcasting camp's activities.
